Welcome to The Acorn Room, our cozy community space inside Village Acorn where little ones and their grown-ups can gather, play, read, sing, and connect.
Located in the heart of Warwick, NY, The Acorn Room hosts children’s events in the Hudson Valley, including story time, music classes, pop-up play sessions, seasonal activities, and local family business collaborations. Our events are free unless otherwise noted, and we’re always adding new gatherings to the schedule.
Adults are required to stay in the store during events and are welcome to join their littles in The Acorn Room or browse Village Acorn while the event is taking place. Space is limited, so please check the schedule below for upcoming events, times, and booking details.
Story Time (Thursdays at 10:30 & 11 AM)

Jammin’ with Joe! (coming again soon!)
Joe leads a lively children’s music session featuring his guitar and popular kid-friendly songs.

Local play space The Little Lane transforms The Acorn Room into an open-play area filled with activities for little ones.
A Morning with Swim Station Swim School
The Swim Station hosts a children’s water activity and an age-appropriate water-safety lesson.

Local play space The Little Lane transforms The Acorn Room into an open-play area filled with activities for little ones. Families can enjoy a fun hour of play, learn more about The Little Lane, and register for its programs.
A Morning with Swim Station Swim School
Recommended age: All ages
Cost: Free
The Swim Station hosts a children’s water activity and an age-appropriate water-safety lesson. Families can meet the instructors, ask questions about swim lessons, and learn more about the school while the children play. Program registration is also available during the event.
