Behind the Boutique
Nestled in the heart of Warwick, New York, Village Acorn is a family-owned baby and kid boutique in the Hudson Valley offering thoughtfully curated clothing, toys, books, gifts, and everyday treasures for little ones and the people who love them.
Village Acorn began as the sweet baby section inside our sister store, Village Bungalow. After seeing how much our community loved shopping for the littlest members of the family, we were grateful for the opportunity to expand just two doors down and create a bigger, brighter space dedicated entirely to babies, kids, parents, grandparents, and the whole family tree.
Our shop carries clothing from newborn through size 6/7, along with children’s books, wooden toys, organic cotton clothing, keepsake gifts, baby shower presents, birthday finds, and thoughtful goods for moms, dads, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and caregivers. Whether you live locally, are visiting the Hudson Valley from New York City, or are spending the day exploring Warwick, NY, Village Acorn is a warm and welcoming stop for meaningful gifts and beautifully made children’s essentials.
Why 'Village Acorn'?
The name Village Acorn holds deep personal meaning for owner Amy and her family. After experiencing the loss of her brother, Amy wanted the store to serve as both a dedication and a tribute to the street they grew up on — Acorn Drive. The image of an acorn felt like the perfect symbol for the heart of the shop: when you plant an acorn, care for it, water it, and give it time, you get to watch it grow into something strong, beautiful, and lasting. That is how we view the care we give to our children and little ones — with patience, love, attention, and hope for who they are becoming.
A Community Space
More than a children’s store, Village Acorn is a place for families to gather, discover, and feel at home. In 2026, we opened The Acorn Room, a special space inside the shop for story time, crafting sessions, music classes, and more family-friendly events in Warwick, NY.
